Vocal Performance Opportunities

Recitals and Juries
Students enrolled in Music 170 or 270 are eligible to perform in quarterly Student Recitals. All students perform a recital-style jury at the end of each quarter.

Vocal Ensemble
The Vocal Ensemble rehearses weekly and performs at the Small Ensembles Recital at the end of each quarter. Get more information about Choral/Vocal Ensembles.

Opera Workshop
The SCC Opera Workshop gives students the opportunity to perform in a fully staged opera production every Winter Quarter. Auditions are held during Fall Quarter. Get more information about Opera Workshops.

Musical Theatre Production
The SCC Musical Theatre Production gives students the opportunity to perform in a fully staged musical every Spring Quarter. Auditions are held during Winter Quarter. Get more information about Musical Theatre.

Funk & Groove
Funk & Groove is an SCC music ensemble comprised of instrumentalists and vocalists which provides opportunities for music students to perform and record music from a range of genres, including pop, jazz, and funk, R&B, soul and rap.
