School Closed Mon. February 19th
Shoreline Community College will be closed Mon., February 19th, in observance of Presidents' Day. 
All offices on campus will be closed, and no services will be available to students or the public during this period. The College will reopen for normal operating hours Tues., Feb. 20.

Types of Financial Aid: Grants/Waivers

Grants and tuition waivers are based on need as determined by the FAFSA, do not need to be repaid and available to students who have not already earned a bachelor's degree. Priority for some grants is given to student meeting the early financial aid application deadline. Funds are awarded as available.

 

Federal Pell Grant

Apply by completing FAFSA. Grant range: $598 to $5,815 per year for full time enrollment.

This federal grant is available to qualified students and amounts vary based on eligibility and enrollment level.

 

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

Apply by completing FAFSA (funds limited). Grant range: $100- $1,938 per year for full time enrollment.

 

This federal grant is available to qualified students and amounts vary based on eligibility and enrollment level. Priority is given to students with the highest financial need, based on date of file completion.

 

Washington State Need Grant

Apply by completing FAFSA (funds limited). Grant range: $1771-$3,451 per year for full time enrollment.

 

This grant is offered through the Washington State Achievement Council (WSAC) and is awarded to eligible Washington state residents.

 

Tuition Waiver

Apply by completing FAFSA (funds limited). Grant range: $100- $1,250.

 

This tuition waiver is awarded to eligible Washington state residents enrolled in at least 6 credits.

Shoreline Grant

Apply by completing FAFSA (funds limited). Grant range: $100- $1,250.

 

This institutional grant is awarded to eligible Washington state residents enrolled in at least 6 credits.
